This is London

House of Lalka made it's south London debut at Cable Night Club at London Bridge.
Lined up with designers who rocked an ethnic style and futuristic spandex leggings, House of Lalka stood out with long floral dresses and Babcia inspired head scarves.

The collection was designed and styled by Sister of Lalka, Katie Rose who described it as;

"A culmination of the last year, pieces of original Lalka mixed with my own designs which i designed and made in India. A taste of things to come in 2011 when we start to produce our own designs."

Enjoy these photographs with the collection modelled by friends and loved ones, including Sister of Lalka, Alice.

And of course the night would not have been complete without our wonderful friend who gives us constant support and inspiration, the beautiful Katy Carr.

FRONT ROW GLAMOUR SUCCESS

House of Lalka had a fantastic time at the Front Row Fashion show in Hastings.
With an eclectic collection that combined mixed florals, textures, lace and distressed fabrics, House of Lalka also conveyed messages of support for Hastings pier in the form of printed T.shirts and record bags which we sold on a stall in the alcoves.
The Victorian masks worn by our models also echoed back to the nostalgic photographs of Hastings pier in it's glory days.

Take a look at the rest of the collection;
More news coming soon.

Greetings from the House of Lalka!

My, November has flown by past and we have been very busy organising  ourselves for the fantatsic Front Row GLAMOUR 2010 fashion show in Hastings which is taking place on Saturday night.
Showcasing designers who have created clothing using recycled and vintage fabrics, Front Row promises to be an exciting eveing all round, and we are particularly excited to see House of Lalka's very own collection up on the catwalk for the first time.

As well as gracing the catwalk we will also be opening a small shop inside one of the alcoves at the beautiful Saint Mary in the Castle, so make you sure come in and find a bargain!

Here are some of the printed bags we will be selling which are based on the terrible fire of our beloved Hastings pier...

We also have some rather lovely new stock going into Sisters and Daughters, so you had better get yourselves down there, delightful homeware and accessories perfect for winter dinner parties.
